UHF Radio Control Panel

The aircraft communications system consists of a Have Quick UHF radio, a VHF radio, a secure voice control panel and an intercom set. Using the UHF radio control the frequencies (225.00-399.975mHz) are selected, if not done via ICP and DED. Many pre-selected frequencies can be selected via a channel selector, as well as the GD (Guard Frequency 243.00mHz). The panel is only active, if the CNI switch (CNI=Communication, Navigation, IFF) on the Auxiliary Control Panel is at the BACKUP position. The UHF Radio Control Panel is located on the left console.
