Integrated Control Panel

Das ICP (Integrated Control Panel = Integrierte Systemsteuerung) ist das Hauptinterface zu den Systemen der F-16. Es dient unter anderem zum Freigeben von Waffen, zur Navigationseinstellung und -kontrolle sowie zur Einstellung des Funksprechverkehrs. Zusammen mit dem DED (Data Entry Display) überwacht es den Systemzustand sowie die Einstellungen des Feuerleitcomputers und erleichtert die Dateneingabe. Das ICP ist die gewissermaßen die Tastatur, das DED der dazugehörige Monitor. Das ICP bildet zusammen mit dem HUD und dem DED die sogenannten Up-Front Controls (UFC).

Die Seitenconsolen sind Ersatzsysteme im Falle eines ICP-Ausfalls. Sehr gute Informationen zum ICP können aus der hervorragenden EFALCON 1.10 Dokumentation entnommen werden. Das ICP befindet sich direkt unter dem HUD auf der Center Console.
